The Bourne Eighth Grade Band Night will take place on Friday, Oct. 13 at the Bourne High School football game against Seekonk.
The eighth grade band will meet in the Bourne band room for pizza at 5:30 p.m., before performing with the high school band on the field at 6:15 p.m. The bands will perform pep music, including musical cheers for the football team, “Iron Man” and “Back and Black”.

Parent pickup will begin at 8:30 p.m. following the performance.
“We are looking forward to this joint performance,” said Middle School Music Teacher Liz Mackenzie. “These students have been working diligently and this is a great opportunity to showcase their talent.”
BPS encourages all who attend to wear purple in support of band members and the BHS Canalmen.
“I would like to thank our band directors, Lisa Fournier and Liz Mackenzie for their dedication to our middle and high school students and the work they do everyday to support Bourne schools’ music programs,” said Principal Borning.
