Canton High School Recognizes Dozens of Students During 2023 Scholastic Honors Night

Superintendent Derek Folan and Principal Jeffrey Sperling are pleased to announce that dozens of Canton High School students were recognized recently at the school’s annual Scholastic Honors Night.

CANTON — Superintendent Derek Folan and Principal Jeffrey Sperling are pleased to announce that dozens of Canton High School students were recognized recently at the school’s annual Scholastic Honors Night.

The event serves as a celebration of the academic excellence, service, leadership and character of CHS students. It recognizes students who have excelled in the classroom, on the courts, fields and stages, and in their chosen extracurricular activities.

Principal Sperling, Superintendent Folan and School Committee Clerk Laura Arboleda provided remarks at the start of the program.

Also as part of the event, Principal Sperling announced the valedictorian and salutatorians for this year’s graduating class. The valedictorian for the CHS Class of 2023 is Nadira Simon, and the salutatorians for the CHS Class of 2023 are Rose Giglio and Keith Hannon.

Students recognized at the 2023 Scholastic Honors Night included the following:

National Merit Letter of Commendation: Matthew Lesser, Leopold MacMullen

M.A.S.S Certificate of Academic Excellence: Rose Giglio

Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) Award: Courtney Pratt
