DOVER — Superintendent Christine Boston and Principal Peter Driscoll are pleased to share that 18 Dover High School students earned the New Hampshire State Seal of Biliteracy in the 2025-2026 school year.
The Biliteracy program recognizes high school students who have attained a high level of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in one or more languages, in addition to English.
“I want to congratulate these students on this outstanding achievement,” said Principal Driscoll. “Their dedication to developing proficiency in another language is something to be proud of. We look forward to continuing to build our Seal of Biliteracy program and provide more Dover students with the opportunity to earn this distinction.”
The following requirements must be met to achieve the Seal of Biliteracy:
- Complete all of the English language requirements for high school graduation.
- Demonstrate intermediate high or intermediate mid-proficiency levels in a world language through one of 23 approved world language assessments.

- Addison Goodman – Spanish (Gold)
- Justin Hardy – Latin (Gold)
- Samuel Harmoko – Latin (Silver)
- Keagan Hennedy – Spanish (Silver)
- Brooke Jolicoeur – Latin (Gold)
- James Malone – Spanish (Gold)
- Raylin Mowers – Spanish (Gold)
- Justin Nguyen – Spanish (Gold)
- Anna Noone – Spanish (Silver)
- Maitsaa Okteva-Bahasa – Indonesian (Gold)
- Samantha Pierce – Spanish (Gold)
- Sophia Ramirez – Spanish (Gold)
- Michael Ranti – Spanish (Gold)
- Cadence Sanger – Spanish (Silver)
- Diego Vargas – Spanish (Gold)
To receive the Seal of Biliteracy at the silver level, students must exhibit intermediate mid-proficiency; to receive the gold level, students must exhibit intermediate high-proficiency. Students who earn this distinction receive an official state seal on their high school diploma, an award certificate, and a graduation cord.

Davis of the New Hampshire Department of Education. “The Seal of Biliteracy celebrates the dedication and achievement of these students while recognizing the value that language skills bring to our schools, our workforce and our communities.”
Dover High School continues to build upon its Seal of Biliteracy program and encourages students to pursue language studies and take advantage of the opportunities that the district has to offer.
