MIDDLEBOROUGH – Town Manager Robert Nunes announces that another round of at-home COVID-19 self-test kits will be available for Middleborough residents to pick up this weekend, while supplies last.

WHEN:

Sunday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or while supplies last

WHERE:

John T. Nichols Middle School, 112 Tiger Dr.

WHAT:

As part of the Plymouth County Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Program, Plymouth County used CARES Act funding to purchase 400,000 at-home rapid antigen COVID-19 self-test kits for distribution throughout the county.

As part of the county-wide distribution effort, the Town of Middleborough has received an allocation of 9,090 at-home rapid antigen COVID-19 self-test kits. The kits have two tests in each box.

Any Middleborough resident will be able to receive the self-test kits on Sunday at the Nichols Middle School. Residents will be limited to two kits per vehicle. The kits will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis while supplies last. Residents will be required to show proof of residency when picking up the self-test kits.

“The Town of Middleborough is pleased to once again host a distribution event for COVID-19 self-test kits as these kits are one of the many risk-reducing measures that can help to protect the community against the spread of COVID-19,” Town Manager Nunes said. “We thank the Plymouth County Commissioners and all who assisted the county in acquiring these tests for our community.”
