GROVELAND — Town Administrator Rebecca Oldham is pleased to announce that the Town of Groveland will be holding a Pumpkin Contest during the town’s annual Pumpkin Fest.
Residents, businesses and community members can participate in the contest by carving pumpkins to display during Groveland Pumpkin Fest.
Carved pumpkins can be dropped off for display beginning Monday, Oct. 24, at the table in front of Town Hall, 183 Main St.
The pumpkin contest will be judged based on three categories and prizes will be awarded to participants who create the scariest, the most original, and the silliest pumpkins.
Participants can carve up to two pumpkins per person, and are asked to complete the pumpkin contest submission form here.
Pumpkin Fest will be held Wednesday Oct. 26 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall.
Everyone is encouraged to vote for their favorite spooky designs during Pumpkin Fest, and the winners will be announced Friday, Oct. 28.
(In the event of unexpected weather, the rain date for Pumpkin Fest is Thursday, Oct. 27.)
