Randolph Fire Department Joins Area Agencies in Giving Thanks to Good Samaritan Medical Center Employees

RANDOLPH — Chief Richard Donovan is pleased to share that the Randolph Fire Department was among several first responder agencies throughout the region who paid a special visit to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Monday to show appreciation to the hospital’s employees.

As part of the event, first responders drove their police cruisers, fire engines and ambulances through the hospital parking lot before looping around and parking along the North Pearl Street entrance. They then waved and said thank you to the hospital workers as some arrived to work and others left during the 3 p.m. shift change.

The Chief of Operations car and Randolph Fire Engine 3 represented the department at the event.

“Our local healthcare workers have always been great community partners and the work they’re doing to care for our residents during this health crisis is commendable,” Chief Donovan said. “This event was a small way for us to show them that we recognize the work they’re doing and the personal sacrifices they’re making, and that we appreciate them.”
