Saugus Police Department Announces Promotion of Sergeant Kevin Cabral to Lieutenant
SAUGUS — Police Chief Domenic J. DiMella is pleased to announce the promotion of Sergeant Kevin Cabral to the rank of Lieutenant.
Lieutenant Cabral was promoted at a ceremony on Thursday, July 24, 2014. He is a 14-year veteran of the Saugus Police Department. He began as a patrolman in June 2000 before rising to the rank of Sergeant in November 2012.
Lieutenant Cabral will be assigned as the Division Commander of the 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Division.
“Kevin Cabral is a consummate law enforcement professional, well-deserving of the rank and responsibilities he has been entrusted with,” Chief DiMella said. “I wish to congratulate him and wish him the best of luck as a division commander in the Saugus Police Department.”
