New England’s First HD Golf Restaurant Launches North of Boston
Free Food and Events for Press and Public on Saturday, Feb. 22
WHAT: Cold? Snowy? Rainy? Who cares! Now, New England has its own High Definition Golf spot.
Par 97 offers anyone the chance to swing real golf clubs, at real golf balls, at real-big 12 and 16-foot HD screens. At the restaurant’s Grand Opening on Saturday, Feb. 22, members of the media and the public are invited to try the fantastic scratch-made food, sample the deep beer menu, and take their turn experiencing the realism and accuracy offered by High Definition Golf.
The restaurant will open at 8 a.m. At 10 a.m., Cobra Puma will be giving free driver fittings, and everyone who gets fitted will be entered to win a free custom fit driver.
At noon, Par 97 Resident Golf Pro Peter Egazarian will do a meet and greet. . Peter offers golf lessons at the restaurant on a regular basis. At 1 p.m., he will give a free K-Vest 3D biomechanics demonstration
North Shore Radio 104.9 will do a live broadcast from the restaurant from 2-4 p.m., and they will be giving away prizes with a prize wheel. They will host a skills competition, giving away more prizes for customers (or press!) who can hit the ball closest to the pin or whack the longest drive.
Members of the Media are welcome throughout the day. The best times to come for sound and video would be after 1 p.m., when Peter is giving his demonstration, and prizes are being awarded!
Par 97 is operated by the well-known Clifford Family, who also own and operate Pub 97 and Café 97 in neighboring Groveland. Terry and son Brandon will be on hand all day for interviews.
