After 45 years on the job, Boston Police Sgt. James Earle is retiring.
Boston Police tweeted a photo of Sgt. Earle with Commissioner William Evans, who presented him with a special commendation for his many years of service to the department.
“Thank you Jimmy! We wish you well,” the department tweeted.
Thank you, indeed.
