Attleboro Fire Department Responds to Motor Vehicle Crash Involving Pedestrian

ATTLEBORO — The Attleboro Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on Monday. 

On Monday, Aug. 24, just after 1 p.m., Attleboro Fire responded to Pearl Street for reports of a child who was hit by a vehicle. 

Upon arrival, first responders located an 8-year-old boy suffering from injuries consistent with a crash. 

The child was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene. 

The Attleboro Police Department also responded to the scene and is investigating the cause of the crash.
