CANTON — Superintendent-Director Jill Rossetti and Principal Geoffrey Zini are pleased to share that Blue Hills Regional (BHR) Technical School recently hosted its annual General Advisory Board Dinner.

The dinner, held on Oct. 8, brought together staff, parents, students and industry partners representing 18 vocational areas to share insights and discuss current trends related to the Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs at Blue Hills.

Superintendent-Director Rossetti delivered the opening remarks. Vocational Director Jill Ferris coordinated the event, welcomed guests and served as host. General Advisory Board Chairperson Linda Wirta delivered the keynote address, sharing timely information on workforce and economic trends across Massachusetts.

SkillsUSA members from the BHR chapter served as greeters and ushers, and the Culinary Arts Department prepared an asian cuisine buffet.

The event lasted more than two hours and concluded with individual advisory board meetings following the dinner and general session.

“The Blue Hills Regional Technical School is fortunate to have so many talented individuals working toward shared goals,” said Superintendent-Director Rossetti. “These dinners give us the chance to share perspectives and gather input from our fellow professionals. I want to thank our SkillsUSA members for helping the event run smoothly and our Culinary Arts Department for providing a fantastic meal.”
