QUINCY — The Thomas Crane Public Library would like to invite community members to attend the After Hours: Camp Crane event.
WHEN:
Friday, June 14 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
WHERE:
Olmsted Lawn, Thomas Crane Public Library, 40 Washington St.
WHAT:
The Thomas Crane Public Library invites community members to join them on the Olmsted Lawn for an evening of nostalgic fun to kick off the summer season.
Participants are invited to bring their family and friends with them as they dive into a wide range of activities meant to invoke feelings of sentimental summer joy. There will be lawn games such as can jam, cornhole, shuffleboard and giant Connect 4, to name a few.
Arts and crafts offered at this event are friendship bracelet making, upcycled scrapbooking, chalk art and keychain designing. Additionally, a themed scavenger hunt will take place, allowing participants to journey throughout the library. Additionally, there will be a DJ and live music featuring hits from the 1990s and 2000s.
There will be an ice cream truck provided by Smiles by the Miles Ice-Cream and the first 100 guests will get one ticket for a free ice cream or non-dairy treat! A cash bar will also be available, which will require a photo ID.
Registration is not required for this free-entry event, which is primarily for guests who are 21 years or older.
Attendees are welcome to bring their own picnic blanket and or a lawn chair!
This event is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Thomas Crane Public Library.
