NORWOOD — Chief Christopher Padden reports that the Norwood Police Department arrested a Dedham man on Friday on numerous fentanyl trafficking charges following a joint investigation.
ANGEL MANUEL CLASS, AGE 26, of DEDHAM, was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking Fentanyl (Nine Counts)
- Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Laws
On Friday, Norwood Police Detectives, working with members of the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime (NORPAC) Task Force, Boston Police District Drug Control Unit, and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) arrested CLASS following an investigation.
The arrest follows a coordinated investigation targeting the distribution of fentanyl and other dangerous narcotics throughout the region.
CLASS was arraigned Friday in Dedham District Court and held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.
The Norwood Police Department would like to thank all of its partner agencies for their continued dedication and teamwork in keeping communities safe.
The investigation remains ongoing.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
