Acton Fire and Police Respond to Single Vehicle Crash Into a House

ACTON — Fire Chief Anita Arnum and Police Chief James Cogan report that the Acton Fire and Police Departments responded to a single-vehicle crash on Monday.

On Monday, Sept. 8, at approximately 7:14 p.m., Acton Police and Fire responded to 4 Great Road for reports of a vehicle that struck a home. 

Upon arrival, crews located a car that appeared to have collided with the front of a house. 

The driver, a 74-year-old woman, was transported to an area hospital for injuries. 

A preliminary investigation suggested that the driver suffered a medical emergency.

There were no other reported injuries. 

The Acton Building Inspector also responded to the scene. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Acton Police.
