STOUGHTON — Chief Donna M. McNamara reports that the Stoughton Police Department has located a missing senior who has dementia.
Joseph Clark, 77, was located early Tuesday evening while driving his vehicle in New Jersey. A Clifton, N.J., police officer saw Clark’s red Chevrolet HHR and ran the license plate. Clark was subsequently pulled over.
Clark is in good condition. He is being transported to a local hospital out of an abundance of caution.
He’d been last seen around 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 5, at his home in Stoughton. His vehicle may have been spotted around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday in Providence, R.I.
The Stoughton Police Department wants to thank local media and the Massachusetts State Police for sharing news of the silver alert. Posts asking for tips on Clark’s location were viewed more than 200,000 times.
