Town of Groveland Adopts New Addressing Bylaw

GROVELAND – Town Administrator Rebecca Oldham shares that the Town of Groveland has adopted a new addressing bylaw.

The new bylaw will require residents to display their house numbers in a visible and consistent way to ensure that the home can be easily identified from the street. This will help ensure that emergency services, including police, fire, emergency medical services, and delivery drivers can see residents house numbers clearly.

Every business, dwelling, apartment building, and house should display its address clearly. Numbers should be kept clean, replaced if they are broken or old, or repainted to make them more visible from the street.

Residents or business owners that are unsure of their exact building numbers can reach out to the Addressing Officer Sam Joslin for assistance.

For more information or questions regarding the new bylaw, please contact Sam Joslin at sjoslin@grovelandma.com or 978-556-7209.

More information may be found in the towns letter to homeowners, which can be found here.
