CARVER — Town Administrator Robert Fennessy announces that the Carver Select Board presented Carver Middle High School junior Camren Allain with an Outstanding Performance Award last week.
During a Select Board meeting on Tuesday, April 4, the Carver Select Board recognized Allain for his success at the Adidas Track Nationals in Virginia Beach, Va., from March 17-19.
At the competition, Allain took home first place with a 6-foot, 8-inch jump in the competition’s high jump competition. He was one of 20 students who competed in the event.
“The entire town is extremely proud of Camren and his performance at the Adidas National Competition,” said Town Administrator Fennessy. “This award is a well-deserved honor, and I’m pleased to see Camren recognized for all of his hard work.”
This was Allain’s first full season as a high jump competitor. He was the only student-athlete from Carver to qualify for the Adidas Track Nationals this year.
