Easton Police and Fire Departments Responding to Bomb Threat at Oliver Ames High School

EASTON — Police Chief Keith Boone and Fire Chief Justin Alexander report that the Easton Police and Fire Departments are responding to a bomb threat at Oliver Ames High School this afternoon.

EASTON — Police Chief Keith Boone and Fire Chief Justin Alexander report that the Easton Police and Fire Departments are responding to a bomb threat at Oliver Ames High School this afternoon.

At approximately noon today, the Easton Police Department received a report of a bomb threat at the high school.

The building was immediately evacuated and police have begun to search the building. All other Easton schools are under a stay in place order.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area at this time as there will be a large presence of first responder personnel in the area. Parents should follow school guidance regarding student pickup today.

The Easton Fire Department and Massachusetts State Police are on-scene providing assistance.

This is a developing situation and further information will be provided when it becomes available.
