TYNGSBOROUGH — Interim Superintendent Jill Davis is pleased to announce that more than 160 students were recognized during the virtual Senior Awards and Scholarship Ceremony held last week.
The event was live streamed on Thursday, May 28, honoring students who earned an academic achievement award and/or scholarship. Students with perfect attendance over the last academic year as well as those with perfect attendance for the entire four years at Greater Lowell Tech were honored.
“A night like tonight is always special because it is a testament to the powerful teaching and learning that occurs each day in our classrooms and shops,” said Interim Superintendent Davis during her opening remarks. “I know that I speak for the entire school community when I say we are so very proud of our Senior Award recipients for the resilience and perseverance they have shown during these very unprecedented times and for their outstanding achievements. Congratulations to all of our award recipients tonight and their families.”

The following students received the President’s Academic Award for Excellence for maintaining a GPA of 4.0 or higher in their respective programs and are ranked as the class of 2020 top 10 students:

- Salutatorian Enrico N. Nuttoli, V, of Dracut, who studied programming and web development.
- Sokhonthyna S. Var, of Lowell, who studied medical laboratory and assisting.
- Roseena Neh Reh, of Lowell, who studied medical laboratory and assisting.
- Emma N. Rossino, of Dracut, who studied medical laboratory and assisting.
- Delaney N. Griffin, of Tyngsborough, who studied medical laboratory and assisting.

The following students received President’s Academic Award for Achievement, recognizing that they had a GPA of 4.0 or higher in their respective programs:
