Rochester Fire Department Responds to Rollover Crash

Two people were in the sedan. The driver was able to free himself from the vehicle, and the passenger was freed after an extrication effort by Rochester firefighters. Thankfully both occupants escaped with only minor injuries.

Rochester Fire Department Responds to Rollover Crash

ROCHESTER — Chief Norman Sanborn reports that the Rochester Fire Department responded this morning to a motor vehicle crash involving a rollover.

At 9:40 a.m., Engine 5, Rescue 1, and Chief 3 respond to a location on King Street. Upon arrival, firefighters found that a white sedan had crashed into a parked minivan, causing the sedan to roll over.

Two people were in the sedan. The driver was able to free himself from the vehicle, and the passenger was freed after an extrication effort by Rochester firefighters. Thankfully both occupants escaped with only minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
