Bedford Police Investigating Burglary at New Boston Road Residence

BEDFORD, N.H. — Chief John Bryfonski reports that the Bedford Police Department is investigating a residential burglary that occurred last week.

Around 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, police responded to a report of a burglary in progress for a residence on New Boston Road, near the intersection of Polly Peabody Road. Upon arrival, officers checked the exterior of the residence, but did not find anyone on the property.

The homeowner stated that when she arrived home a few moments before, she found the back door of her home ajar and a back window pried open. Stolen items include jewelry, a jewelry box and a home phone.

Officials believe the burglary occurred sometime between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 10:40 p.m.
