Groveland Fire Department Receives LED Lights Donation from Daniels Electric

Groveland Fire Department Receives LED Lights Donation from Daniels Electric

GROVELAND – Chief Robert Lay and the Groveland Fire Department would like to thank Daniels Electric for the generous donation and installation of brand new LED lights on a section of the town’s public safety building.

The fire department received six LED lights from Stephen Daniels, master electrician at Daniels Electric, on Dec. 4 that were installed to the exterior of the Central Station/department headquarters.

Because LED lights are more energy efficient and have a longer lifespan than halogen bulbs, the donation also saves the department money on replacements in the future.

“We are extremely thankful to Daniels Electric for this donation,” Chief Lay said. “Steve is a resident of Groveland and a friend of the fire department and his generosity and services did not go unnoticed.”
