Burlington Public Schools Offers Free Adult English Classes

BURLINGTON — Superintendent Eric Conti announces that registration is ongoing for Burlington Public Schools’ free adult English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.

Burlington Public Schools has offered free adult English classes since 2020. This year, the program includes 48 sessions, with classes held on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Classes offer instruction at four English proficiency levels. On their first day, participants take a placement test to help determine the appropriate class level.

The Adult Education program gives participants opportunities to build their English language skills, practice using the language and network with other community members.

Interested community members can learn more and register online.
