EAST BRIDGEWATER — Chief Michael Jenkins reports that following an extensive and thorough investigation, East Bridgewater Police have arrested an East Bridgewater man on multiple child pornography charges.

In June, East Bridgewater Police initiated an investigation after receiving a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) regarding a local man’s online activity.

Through an investigation, detectives identified BRADLEY COLLINS, 21, of EAST BRIDGEWATER, as the suspect.

On July 1, East Bridgewater Police Detectives applied for and were granted a search warrant for electronic devices in COLLINS‘s possession.

Following the seizure of two electronic devices from COLLINS‘s residence, he was taken into custody and charged with the following:

  • Possession of Child Pornography (Two Counts)
  • Distribution of Material of a Child in a Sexual Act

COLLINS is expected to be arraigned Tuesday afternoon, July 7.

“Cases involving the exploitation of children are among the most disturbing crimes our investigators encounter,” said Chief Jenkins. “We appreciate the assistance of our law enforcement partners, including Massachusetts State Police. We are committed to working with them to identify offenders, protect children and hold those responsible fully accountable.”

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
