10 L.E.A.D. Fest Carnivals will bring wholesome family entertainment to communities in Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey, between May 1 and July 5.

The L.E.A.D. Fest Carnival season has started and may be on its way to your community.

Featuring rides, games, food and more, 10 L.E.A.D. Fest Carnivals will bring wholesome family entertainment to communities in Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey, between May 1 and July 5. Proceeds will benefit L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs and Violence) and its critical mission, including its antidrug and antiviolence program taught in Maryland Schools.

L.E.A.D offers an evidence-based drug and violence prevention program that uses fun and interactive lessons to help young people build their own self-confidence to make healthy life choices. The program is built on the Botvin LifeSkills® Training (LST) curriculum, through which participants learn to set goals, make responsible decisions and manage emotions.

This year’s 10 L.E.A.D. Carnivals will be held at the following locations:

  • Bethesda, MD, May 1–10
  • Virginia Beach, VA, May 7–10
