Blackstone Library Celebrates National Library Week with Wonderland Night, Indoor Mini-Golf

BLACKSTONE — The Blackstone Public Library is pleased to announce that it is hosting two special events to celebrate National Library Week, including Wonderland Night and a mini-golf excursion in between the bookshelves.

Fore! Fun for Kids and Parents with Indoor Mini-Golf

The library will first host its popular Indoor Mini Golf event on Saturday, April 11, from 4 to 7 p.m. A 10-hole mini-golf course will be set up throughout the entire library, allowing families and visitors to say “fore” and score a hole-in-one amid the stacks, with each of the holes presenting various levels of difficulty.

Prizes will be awarded to all participants, and anyone who scores a hole-in-one will have their name posted on the library’s bragging board. No registration is required, and the event is open to all ages. Due to the popularity of the event, wait times may vary.

Indoor Mini Golf is sponsored by generous donations from library patrons and members of the community.

Library staff will be dressed as “Alice in Wonderland” characters, and attendees are encouraged to wear costumes or tea party attire.

Wonderland Night is sponsored by the Friends of the Blackstone Library and by the Library’s Gift and Grant Account as authorized by the Library Board of Trustees.
