BEDFORD — The Bedford Police Department temporarily closed part of Smith Road on Tuesday afternoon while police and firefighters responded to a crash.
On Tuesday, Feb. 17, at approximately 4:08 p.m., the Bedford Police and Fire Departments were called to the intersection of Smith Road and Back River Road for a report of a crash.
First responders arrived to find a two-vehicle crash. Two individuals were transported to a local hospital by ambulance with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation by the Bedford Police Department. Smith Road was temporarily closed in the area while first responders addressed the crash and began an investigation.
