Soeren Baughman Named February Kearsarge Student-Athlete of the Month

NEW LONDON — Superintendent John Fortney and Athletic Director Taylor Lipinski are pleased to share that Soeren Baughman has been named Kearsarge Regional High School’s (KRHS) student-athlete of the month for February.

NEW LONDON — Superintendent John Fortney and Athletic Director Taylor Lipinski are pleased to share that Soeren Baughman has been named Kearsarge Regional High School’s (KRHS) student-athlete of the month for February.

Kearsarge student-athletes of the month are seniors who are qualified NHIAA “Scholar Athletes,” accumulating a B+ or equivalent GPA over their time at KRHS and actively participating in two or more sports offerings. These athletes consistently demonstrate commitment to their programs, care for their teammates and peers and are competing at their highest potential.

Student-athletes are chosen each month through collaborative efforts of the entire athletic team.

Baughman is an active member of the football and outdoor track and field programs. In addition to his involvement in athletics, he also contributes his time to the Kearsarge community through his work with Student Council.

“Soeren is often the first one to offer a helping hand and can frequently be seen working within the Athletics Department and supporting other teams. He is great role model to his peers and constantly demonstrates his determination, passion, and kindness both on and off the field,” said Lipinski. “This honor is well deserved, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!”
