All current students and staff of North Middlesex Regional School District are invited to participate in a mobile Polar Plunge to raise funds for Special Olympics Massachusetts, which is providing its mobile polar plunge truck, known as Bear Force One.
North Middlesex Regional High School has been recognized as a Special Olympics Unified Champion School due to its robust Unified Sports programs, which this year are being expanded to include a Unified Strength and Conditioning program.
Coaches and students from the Unified Sports Program are organizing the polar plunge in an effort to demonstrate the school’s support for Special Olympics Massachusetts.
Students and staff will be able to sign up to take the plunge in exchange for raising at least $50 in pledges to jump. Bear Force One includes its own pool that participants will then be able to jump into to earn their pledges.
