ACTON — The Town of Acton Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to invite community members and families to its annual Monsterbash Halloween celebration.
Monsterbash, a longstanding Acton tradition for elementary school-aged children and their families, will be held Friday, Oct. 16, from 6-8 p.m. at the Thomas E. Tidman Amphitheater at NARA Park.
The Halloween celebration will feature themed games, a Blacklight Dance Party with Crystal Entertainment, and other activities for children and families.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in costume and participate in the annual costume contest. Categories include Best Classic Monster, Funniest Getup and Most Creative Costume. Winners will receive a prize, certificate and the title of Monsterbash Costume Champion. Judges will consider originality, creativity and how well each costume fits its category.
Admission is $10 per person for attendees ages 3 and older and can be purchased in advance here. Parking is free.
