BILLERICA — Chief Roy Frost reports that Billerica Police responded to a fatal motorcycle crash early this morning.
On Monday, June 8, at approximately 6:40 a.m., Billerica Police responded to the intersection of Rangeway Road and Nashua Road (Route 4) for a report of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.
Upon arrival, Billerica Police located the motorcycle operator, who was unresponsive and immediately began CPR. The operator, a 25-year-old male from Bedford, was transported by Billerica paramedics to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car was transported to an area hospital with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
The Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit and Massachusetts Crime Scene Unit also responded to the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Billerica Police and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office.
