MANSFIELD — Superintendent Dr. Michelle McKeon and Principal Russ Booth are pleased to announce the Valedictorian and Salutatorian of the Mansfield High School Class of 2026.

The Valedictorian is Sabrina Monaghan and the Salutatorian is Soham Gohil.

“Sabrina and Soham exemplify the dedication, character, and commitment to learning that make the Mansfield High School community so special,” said Superintendent Dr. Michelle McKeon. “Their academic accomplishments are outstanding, but what truly sets them apart is the way they support others and contribute to the community around them. We are incredibly proud of both students and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make in college and beyond.”

The graduation ceremony for the MHS Class of 2026 will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, June 8, at the Xfinity Center.

Sabrina has distinguished herself throughout her time at Mansfield High School through exceptional academic achievement, leadership and service to her school and community.

Sabrina was inducted into the National Honor Society and was recognized as a Harvard Book Award recipient. In addition to her academic accomplishments, she has been a dedicated advocate for inclusion and belonging at Mansfield High School.

This fall, Sabrina will attend Harvard University.

“Sabrina has made a lasting impact on Mansfield High School through not only her academic excellence, but also the compassion and leadership she brings to our community,” said Principal Russ Booth. “She has consistently used her talents to uplift and support others, helping to create a school culture where students feel valued, connected, and included.”

At MHS, Soham serves as captain of the Math Team, captain of the Robotics Team and co-chair of the Computer Science Club. He is also a member of the Quiz Show Team and Student Voice Summit.

Outside the classroom, he has volunteered as an SAT tutor, participated in the Beyond Language Barrier program, provided technology assistance through the Mansfield Council on Aging and served as an assistant coach for the Little Kicks youth soccer program. He has also worked as an Early Learner Teacher at Kumon, a summer camp junior counselor and a youth soccer referee.

His honors include recognition as a PSAT/NMSQT Semifinalist, AP Scholar with Distinction, Yale Book Award recipient, Seal of Biliteracy with Distinction recipient and American Computer Science League Finalist.

This fall, Soham will attend Brown University, where he plans to study applied mathematics.

“Soham has distinguished himself through an exceptional combination of academic achievement, leadership, and service,” said Principal Russ Booth. “He has consistently challenged himself in and out of the classroom while remaining deeply committed to supporting others and contributing to the MHS community.”
