Concord Police and Fire Respond to Significant Crash Involving Car and Motorcycle

CONCORD — The Concord Police and Fire Departments responded Wednesday morning to a significant crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle that led to Lowell Road being closed. 

CONCORD — The Concord Police and Fire Departments responded Wednesday morning to a significant crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle that led to Lowell Road being closed. 

On Wednesday, June 3, at approximately 9:40 a.m., the Concord Police and Fire Departments were called to Lowell Road in the area of Indian Spring Road by multiple 911 calls reporting a crash.

First responders arrived to discover a collision involving a car and a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle, an adult male, was treated at the scene for serious injuries, and then transported by Concord Fire to Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.

The driver of the car, an adult male, was transported by Concord Fire to Emerson Hospital for evaluation. 

Lowell Road was closed between Barretts Mill Road and the Carlisle town line to facilitate emergency response and investigation. 

An ongoing investigation into the crash remains ongoing by Concord Police, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section (CARS).
