CANTON — Superintendent-Director Jill Rossetti and Principal Geoff Zini are proud to announce that 220 Blue Hills Regional Technical School seniors graduated on May 29.
Addressing her fellow graduates, Class President Nissy Kahuha mentioned the Swahili phrase “tusonge mbele,” that means “keep moving forward.”
She told her classmates to move “forward … always forward. Even when you’re tired. Even when you’re unsure. Even when the path ahead looks nothing like what you planned.”
Kahuna reminded the Class of 2026 to “remember what you already survived … remember that you have been proving yourself capable for four years, even when you didn’t feel like it.”
The 2026 Blue Hills commencement was held at 6 p.m., Friday, May 29, on the school’s turf field.
Valedictorian David Ribeiro urged fellow graduates to knock on the “next door,” while not forgetting to appreciate where they are, at any given moment.
“Don’t knock so hard on tomorrow that you miss the room you’re standing in right now,” Ribeiro said.
Superintendent-Director Jill Rossetti addressed the class and reminded the graduates that “real success is built through integrity, resilience, kindness, effort, and the ability to keep going when life gets hard.”
“This was an amazing class,” said Principal Zini said. “Every one of these students will be missed, but we can’t wait to hear about the amazing things they’ll accomplish.”
