Enfield Village School Recognized Nationally for Mathematics Success

ENFIELD — Superintendent Amanda Isabelle and Principal Jamie Winny proudly share that Enfield Village School has once again been recognized for academic excellence by US News & World Report.

Eighty-seven percent of students achieved math proficiency on standardized tests, ranking Enfield Village School tied for second statewide on US News’s 2026 list. In 2021, the school achieved 65% proficiency and ranked 51st.

The school also ranked Enfield Village School 23rd in its best elementary schools list for New Hampshire, compared to 61st in 2021.

U.S. News ranks schools on both math and reading proficiency, as well as overall proficiency.

Enfield Village School is in year three of its Illustrative Mathematics program in Grades K-4. Illustrative Mathematics is an open-source curriculum that promotes and rewards the collaboration of students through problem-based learning.

“This is an incredible recognition of the excellence of Enfield Village School and its students,” Superintendent Isabelle said. “We are immensely proud of our teachers and staff, who are dedicated to pursuing classroom excellence every day.”

Enfield Village School may display a special US News badge recognizing its achievement for the coming year.

“Very few schools receive the honor of a badge,” said Principal Winny. “The curriculum improvements made in all areas have helped our teachers and staff better serve our students, so that they may reach their full potential.”

Enfield Village School serves about 200 students in Grades PreK-4. It was named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education in 2022
