LUDLOW — Town Administrator Marc Strange, Police Chief Daniel Valadas and Fire Chief Ryan Pease report that due to a water main break in Springfield, the areas of Center, Sewall and East Streets in Ludlow are being affected.
The areas of Center, Sewall, West and East Streets and the area surrounding Springfield Water and Sewer Commission are being affected.
Residents in the area may experience a decrease in water use or no water due to the main break.
Residents are asked to be patient during this time and to call Ludlow Central Dispatch only in the event of an emergency.
Springfield Water and Sewer Commission is on scene and is working to mitigate the issue.
Ludlow Department of Public Works has issued an emergency notification to residents who are being affected.
