North Middlesex Regional High School Students to Perform ‘Mamma Mia’

TOWNSEND — Superintendent Brad Morgan and North Middlesex High School Principal Timothy McMahon are pleased to share that North Middlesex Regional High School students will perform the world-famous musical “Mamma Mia” in April. 

WHEN:

Friday, April 28 at 7 p.m.

Saturday, April 29 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

WHERE:

North Middlesex Regional High School, 19 Main St, Townsend, MA 01469

WHAT:

North Middlesex Regional High School students will perform Judy Craymer’s smash hit  “Mamma Mia” to raise funds for the NMRHS theater program. 

“Mamma Mia” is an infectious, uplifting musical featuring amazing dance numbers and music by Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Stig Anderson. 

The play follows the travels of Sophie, who wants her father to give her away at her upcoming wedding. Sophie has a problem though — she doesn’t know who her father is! In an effort to solve the mystery, Sophie invites her mother’s past three lovers to her wedding. 

Romance and comedy fill the play which is set on a Greek island. The play is rated PG and is recommended for all ages.
