Town of Acton to Host Inaugural Restaurant Week

ACTON — Town Manager John Mangiaratti is pleased to announce that the Town of Acton will host its first Restaurant Week next month.

Acton Restaurant Week will take place from Sept. 16-22, with many town restaurants taking part, including Rapscallion Table & Tap, The Red Raven, True West Brewing Co., Le Lynnais, El Huipal, Filho’s Great Road, Not Your Average Joe’s and Holy Grail Restaurant and Pub.

Residents and visitors will have an opportunity to find unique meal deals at those restaurants at dinner time, as well as other times of day at Acton Coffee House, Blackbird Cafe, Legend Cafe and West Side Creamery.

Each business will create its own specials throughout the week, which will be featured on their individual websites. For a complete, regularly updated list of participating restaurants, visit the event’s official site at ActonRestaurantWeek.com.

“I keep hearing from people in Acton that they want more restaurants in town, so this community obviously enjoys eating out,” said Acton Land Use and Economic Development Director Matthew Selby. “Acton Restaurant Week was conceived of as a way to give exposure to the great eating establishments Acton already has, while at the same time incentivizing people to try a new favorite place to eat.”

Acton Restaurant Week is a joint effort by the Acton Economic Development Committee and the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce.
