Dighton Residents Invited to Attend Annual Taste of Dighton Event

DIGHTON — The Friends of the Dighton Public Library is pleased to share that the annual Taste of Dighton event will take place in September.

WHEN:

Monday, Sept. 16, from 5-7 p.m.

WHERE:

The Dighton Lions Club Pavilion, 1111 Somerset Ave., behind Town Hall.

WHAT:

The Friends of the Dighton Public Library is hosting the Taste of Dighton to allow attendees to taste samples from local restaurants and culinary professionals.

The event is family friendly. Tickets will be $10 for 20 tickets and can be used to sample food at each of the vendor tables. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

The following vendors will be in attendance:

• Vino’s Family Cafe, Rehoboth
• La Familia, Taunton
• Alice’s Last Stop, Dighton
• Araujo Farms, Dighton
• Dough Licious Pizza, Berkley
• Dighton Lions Club, Dighton
• Under the Sun, Dighton

Attendees may also purchase tickets for a gift basket raffle. The drawing will be called at 6:30 p.m. and you do not need to be present to win.

The event proceeds will benefit the Dighton Public Library.
