Rochester Cares Clean Up Day Coming Later This Month

ROCHESTER — City Manager Blaine Cox is pleased to invite residents and community members to join in the upcoming Rochester Cares Clean Up Day.

WHEN: 

Saturday, April 13, beginning at 9 a.m.

WHERE: 

Check-in and complimentary breakfast/lunch at Central Square

WHO: 

  • Rochester Main Street
  • Rochester Recreation Department
  • Rochester Public Works
  • Community Volunteers

WHAT: 

Three community organizations are calling on volunteers from throughout Rochester to come together later this month to pitch in on a citywide spring cleaning.

Check-in will take place from 9-10 a.m. at Central Square, before groups fan out across town to clean up either a stretch of road in Rochester or the city’s downtown area.

Volunteers will be treated to a complimentary doughnuts and coffee during check-in, as well as a complimentary lunch back at Central Square from 12:30-2 p.m., courtesy of Moe’s Italian Sandwiches.
