*Joint Release* Bedford Police and Fire Respond to Pedestrian Struck by Motor Vehicle

BEDFORD — Police Chief Robert Bongiorno and Fire Chief David Grunes report that the Bedford Police and Fire Departments are currently on scene for a motor vehicle crash on Springs Road.

Springs Road is currently closed between Hillside Ave & Page Road.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., officials responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at Springs Road. Upon arrival, they found a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital by Bedford Fire ambulance with serious injuries.

Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Section is currently en route to the scene.

The driver remained on scene. The incident is under investigation by the Bedford Police Department.
