Burlington Police responded to the Citizens Bank, located at 248 Middlesex Turnpike, at 5:02 p.m. yesterday for a reported robbery.

The suspect received a quantity of cash and exited the bank, headed toward Bedford Street/Rt. 62. He may have escaped in a white SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer or a Mercury Mountaineer.
The suspect is described as having tanned skin, an average build, and facial hair. He was wearing a camouflage coat, black pants, and a furry winter “trooper” hat with ear flaps.
No one was injured during the robbery. The incident is under investigation by Burlington Police Detectives working with the FBI Bank Robbery Task Force.
