Saugus Police Department Announces Promotions
SAUGUS — Police Chief Domenic J. DiMella is pleased to report that the Saugus Police Department has made the following promotions:
- Officer Matthew Vecchio to Sergeant
- Detective Kevin Murphy to Sergeant
Officer Vecchio is veteran officer with 14 years of meritorious service to the Department. Detective Murphy is 20 year veteran of the department.
The two new sergeants were sworn in on Friday, Jan. 9, with members of department, family and friends in attendance to support the two new sergeants.
