Boxborough Police Department Announces Official Trick-or-Treat Times

BOXBOROUGH — Police Chief Warren B. Ryder has set 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31 as the official hours for Halloween Trick-or-Treating in the Town of Boxborough.

“The Boxborough Police Department encourages everyone to have a fun, safe Halloween this year,” Chief Ryder said. “We will be out there to help make sure the evening stay safe and delicious for everyone!”

Police are reminding parents to make sure your children are wearing bright clothing or something reflective. Children and parents are also encouraged to carry flashlights and to be aware of any traffic that may be approaching you. Parents are also advised to check all candy or treats that your children may receive, before they consume them. If you have any doubts or concerns about an item, discard it or report it to police.

Motorists are urged to be aware of pedestrians during this night and to drive slowly and safely around Boxborough, and surrounding areas.

If you have any concerns or questions, please call the Boxborough Police Department at 978-264-1750.
