Arlington Youth Counseling Center to Host Fifth Annual “Team up for AYCC” Women’s Soccer Tournament

WHAT:

Women’s soccer and community support for mental health services are coming together again for the 5th Annual Team Up for AYCC Soccer Tournament.

WHEN:

Saturday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

WHERE:

The Peirce Turf Field behind Arlington High School. 869 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington.

WHY:

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Arlington Youth Counseling Center (AYCC), a non-profit, community based mental health counseling center serving Arlington’s youth and families. AYCC is a fully licensed facility that provides individual, family and group counseling, psychiatric evaluation and medication treatment for a range of mental and behavioral health issues, including depression, anxiety, self-harm, family violence, psychiatric hospitalization, grief and loss, and substance abuse. AYCC serves all youth and families in Arlington, regardless of ability to pay and relies heavily upon donations to keep the programs viable. WHO:

This exciting event draws women athletes and enthusiastic spectators from Arlington, Winchester, Lexington and beyond for a daylong event filled with competitive soccer, good food and music, and fun activities for the family, including soccer shooting competitions, face painting and a moon bounce. There will also be amazing raffle and silent auction items that will appeal to people of all ages. Everyone is welcome!
