ATTLEBORO — Attleboro Fire crews responded to a serious crash on Interstate 95 North Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday, March 4, at about 5:20 a.m., the Attleboro Fire Department was dispatched to Interstate 95 North, prior to Exit 4 (Route 123) near the weigh station, for a reported motor vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, crews located a sedan and a tractor trailer, both with significant damage.
Attleboro Fire Department provided patient care to the occupant of the sedan and transported them to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. No other motorists on the scene required medical attention.
Fire crews remained on scene until approximately 6:50 a.m.
Any further inquiries into this incident should be directed to Massachusetts State Police, as their investigation is active and ongoing.
