Plainville Police Department to Implement Parking Ban During Weekend’s Expected Storm

PLAINVILLE — Plainville Police Chief James Floyd reports that a parking ban will be put into effect this weekend as some of the first snow accumulation of the season is expected.

PLAINVILLE — Plainville Police Chief James Floyd reports that a parking ban will be put into effect this weekend as some of the first snow accumulation of the season is expected.

The parking ban will be in effect from Saturday, Jan. 6 at 6 p.m., until Monday, Jan. 8 at 6 a.m. 

While the ban is in effect, no on-street parking will be allowed in Plainville. Any vehicle in violation of the ban will be subject to a ticket and may be towed if interfering with snow removal.

For vehicles that are towed, the owner can contact the Plainville Police Department at 508-809-5555 to make arrangements for the vehicle to be released at the owner’s expense.
