This year, the needs continue to be greater than ever for those served by The Salvation Army due to inflation, rising poverty rates, and increasing rates of homelessness. Millions of families across the country are struggling to make ends meet. The Salvation Army is committed to providing service and love to those in need this Christmas and beyond.
Families in need count on donor support to have a joyous holiday season. During a typical year, anywhere from 40-60% of funds raised by The Salvation Army come directly from public and individual contributions. Opportunities for individuals and businesses to show their support of The Salvation Army this holiday season are still available.
