NEW LONDON – Superintendent Winfried Feneberg would like to invite the community to the grand opening of the new Kearsarge Regional Pre-School at Bradford.
In recognition of the growing need for early childhood education, the District decided last fall that it would expand its preschool program to two locations. The District used Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds to purchase a modular building for the expanded program.
As a result of the expansion, the District has also rebranded the preschool program and changed its name to Kearsarge Regional Preschool (KRPS) at New London and at Bradford.
The new location in Bradford officially opened on the first day of the school year, Tuesday, Aug. 29. A grand opening ceremony will be held in celebration of its opening on Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the Bradford Elementary School campus, 163 Old Warner Road.
During the grand opening, attendees will be given a tour of the building, which has two classrooms, a teacher workspace, motor room, speech room, staff area, and bathrooms. The preschool also has a fenced-in playground.
“We are thrilled that the new KRPS location is completed and is now open for our preschool students,” said Superintendent Feneberg. “We are excited to welcome our Kearsarge community to the grand opening to showcase what a wonderful and valuable space this will be within our District.”
