NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH — Town Manager Michael Borg and Fire Chief and Emergency Management Director Christopher Coleman are providing an update on the Town’s current road closures following significant rainfall and flooding Monday night.
As of 7:30 a.m., Hoppin Hill Avenue, between Oak Knoll Drive to Allen Avenue, remains closed. North Attleborough Department of Public Works crews are out this morning working to make repairs.
Old Post Road is also closed between Allen Avenue and Mount Hope Street. DPW crews will be assessing a culvert today to ensure its integrity.
Both roads have detours in place and drivers are asked to avoid the area if possible.
All other roads in town are open. Drivers are urged to exercise caution traveling on roads with standing water. Please do not drive around any barriers.
Further updates will be provided as they become available.
